6:34 pm	teh internets and wishing for warmth For the past few days my internet has been spotty at best, and last night certain portions of it seemed to be entirely off limits to me. Just a few small websites like amazon.com, myspace, livejournal, the guild website, microsoft.com, hotmail, and bits and pieces of other sites that had external image links. All this prompted me to start looking online for what the hell was going on. A few hours later and I found this site that suggested that the internet was indeed borked. As I look at their fancy applet in my system tray, I see that globally we're still getting under 80 as a rating and packet loss is 7%. This seems awfully high and I do wish the world would stop fucking up my interweb. In unrelated news, I'm still unemployed. I'm waiting on my W-2 so I can do my taxes and get a decent refund check (I had them pull extra from my paycheck each pay period because I'm not so good at saving.). 11:00 am	Hatmas I'm going to try to figure out this livejournal thing. Like anyone is going to read it. I want to thank neobitch for the great Jayne Cobb hat she knitted for me. Not only is it big enough and extremely geeky, it's the warmest hat I've ever had.
